437 startersPendle Hill, the first championship race for two years, and the place for fell-runners to be. Conditions were evil : once past the summit trig we turned into the full force of the blizzard. It eased as we followed the long track down, leaving two more tiring hills before the soggy, wet fields home. Well done to Steve for leading us in :- is the club competition for selected Championship races still going this year ? - DT
