198 startersAfter days of rain we had a hot clear day, which brought 45 retirements and times much slower than usual. That slog up Gable never gets any easier! Excellent performances by our first three counters gained the 2nd team prize behind a 1.2.3. from Borrowdale, and also a very good club representation. Could we next year make a real effort to decide at which races to get our teams out - after all we are meant to be a fell club. Could this Lakeland Challenge series form a focus for next year - as well as the Championships? Prizes for the first 20 runners, and depth in all categories : some of our local races could consider the respect which this brings.Members can click on their name to see a results history
