68 startersAnother great day out in the high Lakeland hills. Warm, but not too hot, and clear with no trouble finding the way. Coming back over Scafell and you look across to where you've already been - some real feeling of achievement. The coveted team prize eluded us again, next year? With a sprint finish from Lesley to better her excellent 2nd place. These are the real, the proper fell races. If fell clubs, like ours don't support them they will be lost. Can more of us line up for Duddon, Wasdale or Ennerdale next year, while they are in the calendar?
