53 startersIt's a long way to go for a three mile race, but by taking my bike over the pennines on the train and then cycling home via The Wrinkled Stocking Tea Room (Holmfirth) I contrived a good day out. The race is a classic short blast up and down Alderman Hill, with cans of beer for everybody who bothered to stay for the prize givings.
