Some very strong performances, with the front end showing extremely well, and vastly improved runs from Tony - (chased hard in vain, but only for this once, I'm told..) and Keith. We set off warm, but rain began to set in over Sail, making the rocks and steep drops slippy and needing care. Mist off Crag Hill was awkward. A strong move was a full kit check for everyone at the finish for full body cover. Typical of CFR races, commendably 3 prizes in each 5yr category - though it seems disrespectful to the organiser that most winners had gone earlier .DT.
