A perfect day in Lakeland. Running from Seathwaite we had a great tour of the fells, with views down into Buttermere, Ennerdale, Wasdale, Eskdale, Langdale, Langstrath and Borrowdale. Dark Peak were well represented, with Kirsty Bryan-Jones finishing second in the Ladies event (behind Angela Brand-Barker) and John Hunt second in the Men’s trial (behind Jonnie Bland). We also picked up first V40 team and second open team.
Results will appear here. Highlight of the prize giving was the guest of honour, a local women who competed in the trial when it was last from Seathwaite – in 1956.
