Following the near euphoric excitement surrounding the first Winter Mondays road race last week (results here and league standings here), we will be enjoying the first trail race this coming Monday; and a real belter it is too, up Fair Brook from the Snake, along Seal Edge, and a testing descent back to the start. The forecast is looking kind but given the vagaries of the trail along Seal Edge, and with sunset at 6.30pm, we’d strongly encourage the navigationally ‘uncertain’ to aim for the earlier (6pm and 6.15pm) start times. The RO will be aiming for 6pm (albeit as much due to athletic as navigational incompetence). Full FRA kit, head torch and mobile phone all compulsory items, please.
