The support team is assembling in the lakes for Nicky Spinks’ attempt on the women’s record for the fastest completion of the BG round, which currently stands to Anne Stentiford (Johnson) at 18hrs and 49mins.
Nicky intends to depart the Moot Hall at 4am on Saturday morning and is running to an 18 hour schedule. The forecast is set a little less than fair, but Nicky’s coped with much worse in the past.
