Congratulations to Stu Walker, best known to many mid-pack Dark Peakers perhaps for being the fresh-faced looking chap appearing over Mr Secretary Moore’s right shoulder on the Warts’ blog banner photo, but actually a very accomplished ultra-distance thingummy; as demonstrated by his recent completion of a 1000 mile – and somewhat hilly – 33 (?) day self-supported trek from Vienna to Nice over a significant number of Alpine passes and summits. Your correspondent is a little hazy on the details, but hopefully Stu may be persuaded to report on his endeavours in a future DP mag.
