Congratulations to new R.O. Mark Jones and his band of merry helpers for laying on another successful Edale Skyline last weekend. Sally Fawcett (5^th and 2^nd F40), Juliet Downs (7^th) and Rachel Rose (8^th) won the women’s team prize with Henry Webb (6^th and 1^st MU23), Philip Montgomery (11^th) and Ben Davison (12^th) winning the men’s team prize. In the age categories Oscar Devine-Wright was 3^rd MU23, John Hunt 2^nd M50 and Adrian Baker 2^nd M60. Results

As mentioned elsewhere, this year’s edition of the Burbage Skyline race has been cancelled. Paul Fauset is stepping down as R.O. after 8 (I think) successful years in the role and his successor sought. More information here.

The DPFR BG weekend will be on 23^rd / 24^th June. There are at least two contenders and, for those who don’t know about these things, I can’t overstate how much fun these weekends are. Supporting a leg you get 4 to 6 hours on the hill in good company and, especially in the latter stages, you get to watch your contender really suffer. Then you go to the pub. What’s not to like? Wednesday 26^th April – Tiger’s Trail, Totley race from the rugby ground.

Saturday 29^th April – Kong Mini Mountain Marathon, Ilam Hall, Dovedale. Pre-entry only.
