The National Trust have requested that nobody uses the south ridge of Mam Tor, and have put up fences and signs to this effect. I assume for erosion control. So I’ve amended the Horsehill Tor race map to make this ‘out of bounds’ on race day. This means runners will need to descend the north ridge down to Odin Mine. Good fun on steep grass, but beware the exposed cliff face to your right and give it a wide berth!
