… how’s about taking a crack at the Loxley Lunge this Saturday early evening, love-child of DP resident hack, Dave Holmes, and an event which should be on every Brown Vest’s bucket list. The usual time trial format, i.e. people can start any time between 4pm and 7pm, and post their times on the garage door before settling down to do the more important barbecuing and beer drinking. Our RO promises a ‘Jaipur/Proper Job-style IPA. 5.5-6%ish, dry-hopped with masses of Cascade and Newport’. All welcome, so long (Dave tells us) as you understand that the course is dangerous and you take part ENTIRELY at your own risk … and so long as you remember to bring something to barbecue and drink. It would be helpful if you could let Dave know in advance if you’re coming, ‘so that he knows how many baps to buy’.
