Congratulations to Nicky – first woman home in the Grand Raid des Pyrenees (100 miles and 10,000 metres plus) this weekend and 19th overall in a field of 370 finishers (out of 761 starters). Home in 30 hours 14 mins, fully three hours ahead of the nearest female competition. Let's hope she can translate some of this form into the equally prestigious Winter Series … coming to a racing calendar near you soon.
