If you do then you need to attend this meeting!

A meeting is taking place on Wed 10th March, 7:30 (in Hathersage Memorial hall – Lawrence hall) to discuss the future of Hathersage Pool.

There is a proposal being pushed heavily by a few people which would (in my opinion) SIGNIFICANTLY affect the character of the pool (namely reducing the length from 33 to 25 m by lining it and filling in the deep end).

The pool is a fantastic resource and it would be a shame if important decisions are being taking by a small number of people without a fair and open public debate on them. Therefore the more people who can attend the meeting the better. If you feel strongly about the pool and its future then please try to make the meeting.
