The BG weekend has been pencilled in for the weekend of 24/25/26th June, 2022 with the contenders setting off at 18:45 on the Friday, as is the norm. If they haven’t already done so, contenders should give Richard Hakes a heads up soonish. For the benefit of newer members of the club, the BG weekend is, in my opinion at least, much the best thing that the club does. The support runners – and each contender needs at least five and preferably more – get a great day out on the hill helping their contender really suffer followed by an epic night in the pub. What’s not to like?
