Congratulations to our Vets team who held off Helm Hill by under 20 seconds to win the Hodgson Brothers Mountain Relay.

Top Pape, Tom Brunt, John Hunt and Pete Davies clutching the vets trophy and some loot at the Hodgeson Brothers Mountain Relay. Also in the team of eight were Mike Nolan, Simon Patton, Mike Robinson and Tim Rutter.

Hodgson Brothers Mountain Relay – Women’s team 5^th, Men’s team 6^th, Vet’s team 1^st. Results.

Bradwell – A new course up, down and around Bradwell Edge and it’s a good one. Getting the necessary permissions for both new and established races in the Peak District is becoming increasingly difficult, so well done to all concerned. Results.

Langdale – Matt Harmon (26^th) was the first DPFR runner back with Alison Wainwright winning the F50’s. Results.

Three Peaks – Will Carter (28^th) was the first DPFR finisher with John Hunt 3^rd M50. Results.

Upcoming events

Wednesday, 13^th October – Hunter Wreck Race. A club race which, I confirm, can be a tricky test of navigation.

Saturday, 16^th October – FRA relays, at Tebay.

Sunday, 17^th October – Windgather

Saturday, 23^rd October – Hutton Roofs Crags, a 50at50 counter south of the Howgills.

Sunday, 24^th October – Peak Raid, from Totley.
