Saturday 9th October – Bradwell. Greg Rimmer writes “We’ve rescheduled the postponed August Bradwell race for Saturday 9th October, in the belief it will offer a short and tough local alternative to Langdale on the same day. The route has changed somewhat to give it plenty of climb, making it a proper AS – so much so the FRA Championships Committee sounded us out re hosting one of the races next year! Could be an opportunity to get some knowledge on the route before next year as a chunk of it is on private land.” Pre-entry here.

Groovy Kinder Love – From Hayfield covering 23km over the western slopes of Kinder. Is it sacrilegious to suggest that this is a better race than the Skyline? Probably, so I won’t! The Wainwright clan were to the fore with Eleanor 1st woman and Alison 1st W50. A strong run also from newish Dark Peaker Will Carter in 7th place and 1st MU23. Results here.
