Congratulations to Hal Roberts who waltzed round the 15 Trigs a week or so ago in under 13 hours encountering some cut in the ground.
Upcoming events:
Monday 2nd to Sunday 8th November – Trigs and Monuments TT. A new race, which was to have been a counter in the 2020 TT Leagues but is now simply a DPFR race. This is because the race is wholly within Derbyshire and, as South Yorkshire is now in the Tier 3 / Very High Covid Alert Level, it is deemed to be out of bounds to residents of God’s own county.
A bit further ahead…
Sunday 10th January, 2021 – The Trigger. Entries are live at SiEntries here. Whether or not it can go ahead remains to be seen.
Past events:
Tour de Bradfield Moors TT – This new race seemed to be well received. Running the route clockwise was the more popular choice and notably faster. (Why, oh why did I choose to go the other way?) This was Majka Kunicka’s eighth win from the eight races that she’s contested in the Women’s 2020 TT League, an impressive ratio. However, it’s best ten results to count so there’ll be no cigar. Tom Brunt won the men’s race and can’t be caught in the Men’s 2020 TT League, having won nine out of his twenty races.
Dark Peak Mountain Marathon – The last event in the 2020 TT Leagues closed last night. Results pending.
