This was a counter for both British and English Championships, and as is usual a very good Men\’s turnout. A good scenic setting for the race, easy parking and a good chance to view the other race in it\’s entirety. With a wide road to start, not too much hold up going up onto the fell. The bogs were indeed heavy, but enough of a path had been developed to set the line. A long rough climb, and the descent wasn\’t as bad as expected. Judith was 2nd LV40, and 1st in the English : Lloyd back in action with 5th : not sure about the Vets, in such a strong grouping : DT was 3rd V60. The Seniors should have got vital points, V40\’s need the statistician and full results : V50\’s will be pleased if we got 3rd. And now it\’s up for Kentmere…. Thanks to everyone involved.
