Saturday – Weasdale. English Championship AM
Men’s Results.

Ladies Results.
A bit damp and claggy for the Ladies, with their earlier start. Then clear and warm later, and beaming sunshine at the finish.
There’s every hope of 1st Men and 1st Ladies, just need to get the official results. Vets should be well up – 2nd? , 1st Ladies and very strong Men. V50’s – we’ll wait and see.
Lots of good individual performances, many issues decided? – much too hard for me to sort out.
Good running conditions, much more rain over there had soaked the bogs nicely.
A very good team effort all round, and no doubt there’ll be plenty at Sedbergh tomorrow – but not a weary Carshare…

Oli has kindly sent this photo along, clearly not one bit concerned about our Ladies?

Kielder route Map  – understand this and you’re going well….

Borrowdale photos.   Andy Holden’s photos, taken throughout his running of the race. A completely superb set!

Lakeland Classics UpdatedUsually we’re out of this, now that the Borrowdale race is classed as Superlong. But winning that keeps us ahead of Borrowdale, just, with the two short races to come. The second of these, Langdale, is the same day as the FRA Relays, so that leaves Three Shires, 15th September, as the race to pile in for? Hopefully our Lakeland regulars can be there in force?
 Oli is 2nd – just : John Hunt 6th, Nicky 3rd – 1st LV40.

FRA Relays – Shropshire.  There’s “an orienteering race that is being planned on Long Mynd on 2 September. The courses are being planned by Charlie Leventon who is involved in the organisation of the FRA relays and will be good practice for the relays themselves. The event has been well well organised and fun in the past. You certainly don’t need to be an orienteer to take part. Details. “

Belper Rugby Rover:-
Sedbergh:- results.

Monday – Summer Series (12), from Strines. Last in the series for this year.
Tuesday – Shipman Knotts. You’d find this if you kept going on Kentmere race. Our roving Lakeland visitor is expected there…
