BG Efforts – cancelled. And although a disappointment, most surely the correct decision.
But – Keith Holmes has completed his Bob Graham round in 23:27. It looks like he was moving well at the end and pulled by 30 minutes on the final leg.
Billy Bland Challenge:- Mike Robinson is “trying to put a team of 10 together to attempt the Billy Bland Challenge. This is basically a 5 leg relay around the Bob Graham route. The intended date is 30th June and it should be possible to get round in daylight with the right team. I have some interest already, if you fancy it, get in touch. e-mail or 07778301640”

Borrowdale – Richard Pegram has “ arranged accommodation for my running club for the Borrowdale Fell Race , but not had many takers. The accommodation is the Northumberland Mountaineering Club’s hut: Bowderstone’s Cottage (www.thenmc.org.uk) This is basic accommodation with a lot of character for £7 a night each – a short distance from the start of the race. I’ve booked the Friday and Saturday nights. Would any of your members be interested? This could be for people who fancy a weekend in the Lakes but aren’t taking part in the race. “
