is Beinn Fhionnlaich, north of Glen Etive, all about it is here

That’s it – no more clues. Jim Paxman,  Greg Rimmer, also John Dalton  have sorted it out from these clues , and there are similar photos on the trigpointing website if you use their search facility…

We’re all familiar with the usual shaped trig points, but there are “Vanessa Trigs”,  tubular, mainly seen on high mountains tops where they were easier to construct, but also occasionally at low levels.
So Ian Winterburn asks you to identify this trig point – (I didn’t know it…) and he must have been visiting somewhere in the Western Highlands.
More clues will emerge…

Clue 1 – it wasn’t built in 1692 by the semi-locals (from Glencoe)
Clue 2 – Glen Etive would be a decent setting off place….…. O/S Map Landranger 50. (as long as you don’t keep on going…)
