More photos. This must rank as one of DPFR’s best achievements of all time? Getting teams out on home territory is one thing, but having a team in every age-group, up in Scotland takes some doing. So thanks to everyone who travelled, it’s a huge commitment, family, financial etc. Especial thanks to the Team Organisers, it’s a difficult task to take on.

Senior Men – Was very close. Three very nearby runners slogging up that final hill, the gap closing, and finally only 90secs behind. Shettleston first, then Pudsey.
V40 Men. If Borrowdale turn out in force, it’s a hard ask, so 2nd (11th overall) is a right good effort.
V50 Men. Always looked a strong team, and so it was. 1st.
Senior Ladies. Nothing but compliments from Carshare on having the two Teams representing. 9th, but with many strong runners also in the Vets Team.
V40 Ladies. Was there any possibility of them not winning? Superb. 1st.
A very good event, very well organised, and good hard running.
So it’s over to Bingley for next year, maybe – only complete guesswork, from Kettlewell, and if so potential runners could well do Great Whernside, Saturday October 30th. AS and a classic if ever there is one.
It would be good if they have the guest LV40 and M50 categories, but that is down to the organising club, and the event, being more accessible, will be fully subscribed…
Round Rotherham –… results . Which means Jon Morgan is 1st : that Nicky is 2nd overall, 1sr LV40 , behind Kate Bailey : Julie Gardner – 2nd LV50 : and Mick Cochrane wins the V60 group. Run Further Final Results.

This happens to be Beinn Chaorach, on the mainland NE of Jura. So who lifted the phone box over the trig point?
