Windgather. Results
Langdale. Results. So this fellow asks me – “Is it a DPFR Championship race with so many runners?”.
A massive turnout for the final Lakeland Classic race, but of blokes….4 Ladies needed for a Team, and only 3 running. One more and we’d have notched that as well.
First Team prize, 2nd went to Borrowdale, (their championship race…) and 3rd prize – DPFR 2nd Team, and 5 to count!
A clear dry day, but it helps to know the lines and the route. Oli Johnson navigated round safely, map in hand, to come home well clear – have we ever won Langdale before? The sticky labels had no times, only positions, so everything can wait till the results are out.

For the Ladies, Karen and Nicky out for prizes, Jenny Caddick safely round, but a 4th counter?

FRA AGM – A worthy reminder from Pete Tapping. “ FRA Presentation evening, if people are travelling for that they could also be encouraged to get to the AGM earlier in the day. I popped into last year’s and although most of the discussion was pretty esoteric it was interesting enough.”
DT – I’m one of the many who’ve never attended, but it’s no use us moaning on Forums and all that if we don’t put forwards a case at the AGM – Saturday – 13th November.
