Everything and everywhere…please help with any news/results etc.

Otley Chevin:- Short and AS desperate, a mad dash out of the town, into the hillside. But once at the top, some flying drop down again… results

Borrowdale Entry Form  –

Bamford Sheep Dog Trials:- Such a great help when someone can interpret the sticky labels and send the results along. So star billing to Lewis, (is it these results which take ages to appear?)
“Today at Bamford Sheep Dog trials, all the dogs were found guilty, but not before the judge had to caution the prosecution for leading a witness. A warm and humid day; dry and firm underfoot. Which made for just the right conditions for yet another course record for Stuart Bond.”

Jura:- results . Rob Jebb home first, Es – 3rd, Dave Aucott – 6th. Loads of DPFR runners…

Helvellyn:- A cold wind on the ridge along to Helvellyn, a wind that forever seemed to change direction. Bits of rain in the wind as we made the return trip. Only myself and Al Ward (3rd) there, but so many races happening. The first 5 home were Vets, led by Mike Fanning, far ahead on his own. results

New Dungeon Ghyll.  – we await results with interest, as it looks like a first place for Mike. Rhys kindly enlightens us:- “ It was warm and wet, cloud down to about 500m which ultimately contributed to yours truly banana-ing off Harrison Stickle and throwing away all the hard work done on the climbing! Trotted in in 3rd, a long way back from Mike and Sam Watson who tussled all the way down – Mike pulling away when Sam decided upon a close up inspection of the footpath.
Mike won a meal for two in the NDG as well as taking the record, while I’ll  be taking my bottle of wine up Harrison Stickle and bludgeoning some sense into myself.”

Chatsworth 10km.results. “Stuart Bond did indeed come second, in 32:29. The only declared Dark Peaker is Naomi Baynes in 48:48”

Hutton Roof:-  results.  with Simon Phipps (1.03.40 and Martin Smith – 1.09.00
Saddleworth:- results
Cader Idris:- results.  Seems like no travellers this year…
Shutlingsloe:- results
