Read it for entertaining accounts of the Bob Graham Round, the Fellsman, classic Lake District fell races, the Ben Nevis Race, the Grizzly and many more. Thirty-five different running clubs and fifty runners have contributed to the book. All proceeds from the book are being donated to UK Mountain Rescue.”

Edale Skyline Carparking Marshalls:- :- Greg Rimmer is “rallying troops to marshal the Car Parking for the Skyline, I think last year there were 6 of us and it ran quite smoothly. This year there are only two of us so far, which will mean mayhem and madness in and around Edale as people don’t park in the right places. It’s one of only a few opportunities you’ll ever get to both be a marshal and run an AL race! Last year at least three of us did the job then ran… This year it could be you! Please e-mail “

Chew Valley Skyline – March 7th – the original course, which I’ve not done, is pre-entry…Can anyone please help with route notes? I’ve got the CP’s, but linking them up will be thoughtful, to say the least….
Silent Valley – Ireland. Well, here it is….We start at the very far end of that reservoir, do plenty of big climbs to the L of this picture, and this is the second part of the course. The steep pointed thing is Doan, that on the far right is Slieve Muck, then across to that one above the reservoir – Slievenaglogh. Big hills indeed , but the navigational handrail of the Mourne Wall will help considerably. Maps to come….
