Danefield Relay:- a good little event round the Chevin Woods. Everyone rolls up, sorts into teams of 3, nothing at all serious. Rather like the Bunny Run Relay – nothing like this in the Peak?

Summer Series (6) Results.
Moel y Gamelin:- John Hunt ” sneaked out into North Wales and did Moel-y-Gamelin (9.4Miles 2380ft) yesterday 28th June. The ribs are still killing from my little accident doing the tug’o’war at my children’s sports night the night before Tebay (yeh yeh yeh, get what you deserve, but needs must, couldn’t let the children down) and in an effort to try to race them better I went out again for a pacey 9.5 in North Wales, it’s a good race, very runnable, I struggled my sorry ribs round to finish 2nd, must get them right for Wasdale”
Another BG Round:- “Despite Phil Winskill denying all thoughts of a BG the other week it seems he had a gentle run round this weekend. Well Done Phil – 21hrs 37mins. (thanks, Ian…)
Great Lakes Run:- Results. This is some magnificent, hard course. A definite “must” for the next calendar. Up The Band to Bowfell, Esk Pike, Great End, Scafell Pike, Scafell – then off Slight Side and up to the Little Stand col, just leaving Blisco and a manic direct drop home. Bits of cloud on the tops, but mainly clear and warm. Our Lakeland Specials were once again out in force, but so were Borrowdale…
Very rocky and bouldery to Slight Side, then every possibility of going wrong on the pathless return to Blisco. With a direct line through “Great Moss” – a bog of potential huge wet depths.
Chrome Hill:- Pete Gorvett has helpfully copied down the results – report etc on DP Results
Whaley Waltz- results
