Up in the North Yorks Moors, we managed a team of 2 – Joe (3rd) and Roy Gibson (16th).
Ricky’s Race Results:- so close to an impressive first win for Thomas Webb! Us Old V60’s have been accused of dubious tactics on the front starting line, but at least we manage to run the full race. It seems that our V40’s have developed the means of avoiding the crush, by joining in Ricky’s Race halfway into the woods, under the pretence of “warming up”……….
Steel Fell Results:- 1st Rob Jebb, 5th Phil , 11th Mike – I liked the idea of this, no entry fee and no prizes. Just running for runnings sake!
Stoney Middleton Results:- have been superbly tracked down by Jon Morgan!
Bradwell Results.- marvellous results service from Alan and Graham Revell.
Borrowdale Results:- Photos . Feared the worst as it poured coming from Scotch Corner, but only a bit of damp going to Scafell Pike. Never realised that Green Gable needed precise compass work to get across to Brandreth, seems like several others were attracted to the Base Brown picnic site. Thanks as always to everyone representing – I’ve put the missing times out. All the Men’s teams are in with a shout of something, in English and British. For the V50’s we got “done” by CFR on their home ground – though full credit to Alan Yates for giving them the frighteners with his 1stV60 placing. Unfortunately honesty prevailed, and he rightfully corrected the error…It’s all down to needing a win at Dufton, which would then involve the complicated countback…
