Bunny Run (1) Results:- A huge 300 turnout for this extremely popular race – the same idea as the Trunce. Various loops round those Penistone Hill quarries, fast and furious. Loads of youngsters involved, the typical Woodheads value for money event, then watch the football and prizewinners in the pub – Andi Jones and Sharon Taylor.

Trunce (1):- Some photos, results now out.

Edale Skyline:-“Steve, who runs the Hayfield site, has got a great link set up where you can compare your performance with other runners splits and position. Very enlightening.
Another good link where you can check your position on any of the individual legs.” (Thanks, Ian.)

I can’t see a mention of it elsewhere (apologies if it has already been said) but I think we should say a BIG THANK YOU from all the competitors to Andy and all of the other helpers for putting on an excellent day’s racing on Sunday. It all ran very smoothly – a credit to all the hard work that went in to organising it. Well Done!”
DT – Most grateful to Simon Patton for realising this glaring oversight – we nearly had no race, so even though I wasn’t there, many thanks to everyone involved.

More photos can be found here, and also two photos kindly sent from Steve Matthews,

Arant Haw Results
A Sedbergh classic, with Mike home in 8th place.
” 4.75m, 1760ft . A superb race, one of the better short courses. For the ones who don’t know this takes in the first and last tops in the Sedbergh Hills Race.”

Midgely Moor:- A hard AS race across the usual Calderdale moorlands, wet, heathered, bogs, bleak and all good stuff. Loosely based around Leg 4 of the Relay. A strong effort from Steve Storey, looking good for Ireland…..
