‘Up the Clough’
10km, 540m climb
10:30 prompt start from the bottom of bamford clough, this is a ~10 minute walk from the campsite. A good chance to warm up for the *steeper than 1:3* start. The finish is a classic Dark Peak weekender mid river finish adjacent to the campsite field. Two hellish cloughs with some ‘champagne fell running’ between and excellent views throughout if the weather holds out.
