I am informed the course will be somewhere in the peak district, with heather, rocks, bog AND path. It is about 10 miles straight line distance. Initial estimate is that the winning time will be about 1:30. The course setter is not a Wart. Neither is the course setter’s assistant. Other than that I’m ignorant.
Despite the precedent, all suggestions that the prize for winning the Handicap will be Chairmanship of the club for the next year are categorically denied.
