Entries for the Mountain Trial close at the end of August, and there are plenty of places still available. For those who don’t know it, the event is a navigational fell race in classic Lake District terrain. A variety of course lengths is available but all provide an excellent challenge. If you have not run it before I can strongly recommend it.
