Congratulations to Ian Winterburn, who yesterday climbed his 282nd Munro to collect the full set of Scottish summits over 3000ft – a journey which we understand has taken him roughly thirty years (albeit very largely confined to the last few years).
Facebook using members will be relieved to note that this may (I stress may) result in fewer of their discussions being sidetracked entirely by some wholly left-field invitation to go running in Scotland. Members of all technological persuasions should be warned however that, with the diminishing need to go marauding north of the border, there’s a clear and present danger that we may see (and, needless to say, hear) rather more of Ian bouncing around on Peak District hills in the next few months.
Well done Ian – and there’s a pint waiting for the first member to find the next best thing to divert you with 🙂
