The nights are drawing out, the summer solstice is nigh, and that means the copy deadline is fast approaching for the summer edition of Dark Peak News. Production Editor Tim Mackey is away on a dream holiday in the States for the next three weeks, but the Editor’s aim is to present him with a big pile of gripping writing and stunning photographs when he returns on June 17th. That’s where I need your help, because we need a few more of you to get your cameras out and turn to your word processors. I have some lovely pieces already, but we need a few more please folks. You’re all having fantastic adventures – all you need to now is to snap them, write about them, and share them with your pals in the Dark Peak’s most revered fell running publication. Yes, it involves a bit of work, but think of the glory and the adulation that will surely come your way. I’m happy to chat about ideas. Just get in touch by phone or email. As well as general pieces, I could do with a “Made in the Dark Peak” artefact, some titbits for the dog, and a gear review, (so that I don’t have to write about my latest pair of running shoes again, again).
