“I checked the archives and Dark Peak Ladies have never won the British Team Medal. This could be our year! We have a good lead but NEED four counters in Wales (Moel Wnion) on 8th September – click for entry details. We can share transport and Helen has promised cake. Dark Peak Girls shouldn’t worry about being “good enough”. Anyone who is a reasonably strong mid-field runner will be in with a very good chance of winning a big shiny UKAA Gold Medal to show off to their grandchildren in years to come. Would be great to make it a double win for our team and make it a 1st for dark peak too…”
