Huge congratulations to all involved in the women’s assault on this year’s Billy Bland challenge. Moot Hall to Moot Hall in 18 hours and 51 minutes, taking nearly three hours off the record for 2010/11, and breaking the 10/11 leg records for legs 2, 3, 4 and 5 to boot. And all this in some pretty serious weather too.
We look forward to hearing all about it – and to finding out if any other women’s teams have matched any of these achievements in June 2012. In the meantime, have yourselves a pint or three, folks, and be sure to let Richard know just how far it was from the pub to the campsite.
