Willy Kitchen made a successful, sub 24 hour, completion of the Paddy Buckley round finishing in Llanberis at 1:53am this morning. He got round in 23:39
Begining in good conditions on Friday he gained 30 minutes early on and held on to this until the last leg when worsening conditions and some digestive ‘issues’ slowed him down and had to dig deep to get back to Llanberis.
Reports from supporters are that Willy was strong through out and knew the route incredibly well, having put in a massive amount of recce work over the winter. A very well earned achievement!
