Good luck to Willy Kitchen on the Paddy. A big DPFR team out supporting. He started at Llanberis at about 2am and early on, before the Glyders, was 10 minutes up but its early days!!. Jim Paxman is apparently struggling to keep up – most of us have been there. The forecast is not the best going into Saturday night. Willy has put a tremendous amount of work in so we wish him well.

Latest – 18.05 willy still 30 minutes up and through Aberglasslyn now so only two legs to go.
15 mins up at Y Garn, don’t know what time.
Latest 21:30 – conditions getting worse now. Clag is coming in and getting windy. Willy through last checkpoint Still with time in hand but going to have a rough night!
Update 23:55. Carl and Ian bivying on moel ellio waiting to guide willy back to llanberis and glory. Latest reports are of vomiting and slowing down. Willy now 6 minutes down on his 23:30 schedule. Weather is truely foul now. It’s looking like going to the wire for a sub 24 hour round. *everything crossed*
