A month or two ago several of us went to meetings organised by the National Trust to listen to them and to give our views on the future of the High Peak moors. Various leases are shortly up for renewal, and the results of this will determine the future for the moors over the next 25 years. That was the first phase of a consultation, and the results of that can now be found on the NT website
The National Trust will be providing an initial response to the comments received in June and a draft plan will be out for consultation in September. For updates and the latest news on the project please visit the High Peak moors website.
