2026 is a year to celebrate Dark Peak Fell Runners 50th Anniversary, so here are a couple of ‘save the dates’ for your diary…

19th-20th September – 50th Anniversary Camping Weekend.
The loose plan is to have some sort of BBQ/Party and camping in the Edale Valley.
The full experience would involve running from the Sportsman via a selection of Dark Peak landmarks, and running back the next day. Though some might want to cycle, walk or drive. There is potential for a kit drop van for those wanting to travel light. More details in due course…
There are also plans to have a limited edition Dark Peak map and Dark Peak beer produced for the weekend.

21st November – Dark Peak 50th Anniversary Club Dinner
