This year’s challenge is perhaps a little harder than the last couple (by popular demand I should add) and is one for the fellrunner with a well-rounded knowledge of the United Kingdom’s hills and mountains. The answer to each clue is the name of a hill or mountain. Fill them in on the answer sheet along with their heights (in metres). I have used the OS approved heights. Transpose the digits into the three rows below using the letter code (the first one has been done as an example) and this will give you three 10 figure grid references. These points should form the corners of an equilateral triangle in classic DPFR territory. The whisky and other goodies are located at the exact centre point of this triangle. If your three points don’t form an equilateral triangle (or its centre is in suburban Nuneaton or some such spot) you have gone wrong. Please keep any Strava routes that take in this whisky stash private for the time being to preserve the challenge. Any problems or queries then get in touch.

Merry Christmas, good luck and happy hunting…
