Entries for Edale Skyline
Entries for FRA members are open but full. Entries reopen at 10am on Friday 14th February until Sunday 16th March or the entry limit (400) is reached. There aren’t many places left.
More importantly, Mark Jones is looking for volunteers without whom the race cannot take place. Volunteering duties include helping out at a checkpoint, in race control, sweeping, or taking care of the car parking before the race. We will also need first aiders on the day, so if you have taken part in a club organised FRA First Aid course please consider volunteering for this. The volunteering form is here.
Past Races
Dovedale Big Daddy – A perfect day for this excellent brand new AL which saved four eyeballs-out climbs right until the end. Finlay Grant, having won a Kong race in the Lakes 24 hours previously, whizzed round in only a touch over two hours hotly pursued by Will Gratton (2nd) and Laurence Piercy (4th) who together lifted the open team prize. Harriet Wingfield won both the women’s race and the women’s team prize aided and abetted by Sally Fawcett (3rd and 1st W40) and Liz Batt (5th and 1st W60). Craig Jeffery won the M50’s and Keith Holmes, as is his habit, won the M70’s. Results.

Laurence Piercy won the four race Limestone Series (Ilam Three Peaks, Litton Christmas Cracker, Moonriver and Dovedale Big Daddy) with Craig Jeffrey winning the M50, Liz Batt the W50 and Keith Holmes the M70 categories. Series results.
