The OMM – was held in the Southern Highlands last weekend.

Elite: Matt Harmon / Simon Mills 8th, Despina Berdeni / Lisa Watson 2nd female team and Stuart Reid / Tom Gomersall 3rd vets team.

B Class: Guy Ward / Felix Watts 5th.

Long Score: James Lowe / Calum Wadsworth 3rd.

Medium Score: Kirsty Bryan-Jones / Simon Patton 1st vets team.

Upcoming races

Saturday 9th November – Three Tops Race, to decide the Eric Mitchell Trophy. This is a fine not-so-little race with any amount of route choice and is far preferable to a Saturday parkrun. It’s also a handicap so, in theory at least, all runners are in with an equal chance of a famous win.

 

Sunday 10th November – Roaches.

 

Sunday 10th November – Leg It Round Lathkil.

 

Saturday 16th November – Padfield, Glossop.

 

Saturday 16th November – Tour of Pendle. The last ‘AL’ of the year and highly recommended.

 

Sunday 17th November – Peak Raid, Edale. The third in the four race series.

Sunday 24th November – Famous Grouse, Birchvale (near Hayfield). Details
