Auld Land Syne – Des Berdeni writes “Victory for Anna Watkinson-Powell at the Auld Lang Syne fell race! Winnings included a wad of cash, her body weight in chocolate and an extremely dubious chicken hat!”

Bowstones – Jennie Stevens was there on her lonesome flying the brown flag. Results 

Wormstones  – Fin Grant 2^nd, Helen Elmore 1^st F50 and Alison Wainwright 3^rd F55. Results 

Barbrook Blast – The first of the Dark Peak Races League races. Tom Saville 1^st with Oli Johnson and Matt Greenwood not far behind. Jane Crowson made full use of local knowledge to be 1^st woman as did Race Organiser Mike Nolan… only he was 1^st M50! Results

Sunday 14^th January – Trigger and the weather is shaping up better than most years.

Sunday 21^st January – Ashop Horseshoe. DPFR race from the bridge below the Snake Inn as was.

Sunday 28^th January – Tigger Tor. Pre-entry only.

Saturday 10^th February – Tour of Bradwell Winter Half. Over 17 miles and 3,500 vertical feet of Type 2 fun. Pre-enter here. 

Saturday 16^th March – Flower Scar, English championship race. Entries open. SiEntries.

Sunday 24^th March – Edale Skyline. Entries open on 1^st February.

Saturday 6^th April – Lad’s Leap, English championship race. Entries open on Monday 15^th January.

Saturday 25^th May – Jura. Entries are open.

A long way ahead but Lewis Ashton has booked Beudy Mawr, the Rucksack Club hut in Nant Peris, for the weekend of 20^th / 22^nd September to coincide with the Peris Horseshoe British Championship race. Contact Lewis to reserve a place.

Lewis is also organising the Rucksack Club running meet at High Moss in the Duddon Valley over the weekend of 1^st / 3^rd November. All welcome.
