Tour of Pendle – John Hunt 1st M55, Despina Berdeni 3rd woman. Results 

Kong MMM Dolgellau – Good news: These fine events will continue next year under new management. Finlay Grant 1st and 1st in the 3 race series having won all of them. Kirsty Bryan-Jones and Helen Elmore teamed up to finish 5th overall, 2nd women and 1st F50’s ahead of Lucy Wiegand and Julia Nolan who were 2nd and 3rd F50’s respectively. Last, but by no means least, a welcome return to the podium for Lewis Ashton, 3rd M50. Results 

Club champs – Matt Pickering again came up with a fine route and even finer weather for the club championships won by Jonny Crickmore and Lisa Watson. Tom Brunt, 9th overall was 1st M40, M45 and M50. Rachel Rose W40, Kim Baxter W45 and Penny Collier W50 and W55 all won their respective age categories. Greg Rimmer scythed through the field and didn’t see a soul after Kinder Gates to win both the M60’s and the men’s Handicap. Anna Watkinson-Powell won the women’s handicap. Results

Sunday 3rd December – Gravy Pud, Tintwhistle.

Saturday 16th December – Winter Crookstone Crashout. Classic DPFR fare and not to be missed under any circumstances. Carsharing essential as parking is limited. The full route will be revealed at a later date but you can be certain that it will finish with the traditional quad busting descent from Crookstone Knoll back down to Rowley Bridge.

Tuesday 26th December – Totley Two Turtle Doves, from behind The Cricket Inn. A bit traily but looks OK if you like that kind of thing. Details here. But, better by far…

10:00 Tuesday 26th December – Boxing Day Bogtrot under new and I hope, temporary management. 75 minute score event from Burbage Bridge. Details to follow.

Sunday 31st December – Bowstones, but it is now full.

Sunday 31st December – Wormstones, from Glossop towards Mill Hill. EoD, but pre-entry is cheaper.

Monday 1st January – Barbrook Blast, Grindleford. A DPFR race curtesy of Mike Nolan.

Sunday 14th January – Trigger. The race is full but reserves may be taken via SiEntries..

Sunday 28th January – Tigger Tor. Pre-entry only.

Saturday 16th March – Flower Scar. Entries for this, the first of the 2024 English Championship counters, open on 16th December for those with guaranteed entry, 23rd December for FRA members and 30th December for others. SiEntries.
