Hello Dark Peak V60’s.
The FRA relays (British Fell and Hill Relay Championships) are on Saturday 21st October in the Lake District and are being hosted by Keswick AC.
It is not certain that the V60’s will get a space this year but it would be wise to assume we will in order to plan for an entry. ( Last year we didn’t manage to put a team together due to our age related frailty but the year before that Dark Peak won by a very close 1-1/2 minutes from Helm Hill.)
This year there is a change to entry in that the V60 category is now open for both males and females. We need 6 runners with 2 solo short legs and 2 paired longer legs, one of which is the navigation leg. It also would be wise to have a couple of reserves.
Please let me know if you would like to be considered for this team. Recent results from short or medium races would help with the selection process.
