Congratulations to Matt Spoor and Roland Allatt who completed their Bob Graham Rounds last weekend after a wild night on the Eastern Fells. Also to Andrew Holt who did the Frog Graham a fortnight ago.

Roland and Matt back at the Moot Hall with every reason to be looking very pleased with themselves.

Summer Series, Way Out West – Nicky writes “Fifteen runners did this iconic race with Nick Kirk winning by a slight margin over Chris Lawson. Apparently the bracken is doing well and so I imagine are the bilberries! ” Results

Buttermere Horseshoe, the 3^rd of the Lakeland Classics. John Hunt 1^st M50 Results The standings after three rounds of the Lakeland Classics Trophy are here. In the team standings Dark Peak are 4^th behind Pennine in 3^rd. They need hunting down!

Hope Wakes – Helen Elmore writes “Lots of good results at Hope, Phillipa Williams smashed the women’s record, Johnny Crickmore broke the men’s but unfortunately some top international runner whose name escapes me, absolutely smashed it too. Rachel Rose 1^st F40, Helen Elmore 1^st F50”. Results

Weaver Hills – Greg Rimmer 1^st M60. Results

Meall an t-Suidhe – The Scottish counter in the British Championships. Straight up and down a hill on the outskirts of Fort William. Shorter than a Parkrun but lumpier. Finlay Wild was only 10 seconds off Gavin Bland’s 1999 race record with Finlay Grant, in an outstanding 3^rd place, leading the DPFR men’s team into 2^nd place, just 3 points behind Keswick. In the women’s race, Keswick’s Nichola Jackson equalled the women’s record in a spring finish. Results Men and Women.
