Moz’s Birthday Run – Finlay Grant was the wide margin winner from a small but select field that included an early bidder for the Pertex Trophy. Results

Trigger – A tough race, too tough for your correspondent in fact. Tom Saville (3^rd), Will Boothman (9^th & 1^st M40) and Josh Williams (11^th) carried off the men’s team prize. There were also category prizes for Ralph Skrimshire (3^rd M40), Chris Lawson (2^nd M50), Nicky Spinks (1^st F50), Paul Addison (2^nd M60) and Keith Holmes (3^rdM60). Results

Round Sheffield Run – It ain’t fell running but a popular outing nevertheless with over 1,500 starters. Amongst the dozen brown vests, Sally Fawcett was 1^st F40 and Helen Elmore 1^st F50. Results

Wednesday 18^th January – Fairholmes Night Race. A DPFR race, see Calendar.

Saturday 21^st January – Ashop Horseshoe. The 4^th running of this DPFR race. Current records to beat are Men 1:23:31 Tom Brunt and Women Sarah Lilleman 1:54:15. The Debrief and (probably) prize giving will be at The Anglers in Bamford at 12:00.

Sunday 29^th January – Tigger Tor, from Ringinglow. Pre-entry only and it’s full.

Saturday 4^th February – Margery Hill which, for my money, is both the best and the gnarliest of the DPFR races. Not to be underestimated and be very very careful in bad weather!
