“At just 24 years old, Alastair Humphreys left England to cycle round the world. Completely alone with just his bike, a few maps and very limited supplies, he set out on a 46,000 mile journey which would take him through 60 countries, across 5 continents and take 4 years to complete. Riding across England to South Africa, Alastair crossed the Atlantic by yacht, cycled from Patagonia to Alaska, crossed the Pacific by freighter, finally completing his expedition by cycling back to England from eastern Siberia. Join Alastair for a fascinating insight into our global community as he shares the story of his inspirational journey.”

Maybe worth a trip to Sheffield Uni Students Union on 13th October, a talk by someone who Nicky and Steve met some years ago.
