If you are interested in running for Dark Peak in this year’s Calderdale Way Relay (Sunday 10th December), then read on…
We have four teams entered equating to 48 people, roughly one in six of the club membership. Contact the relevant team captain(s) if you would like to run. Our open team came second to Bingley by a mere eleven seconds last year, so obviously a top priority is to get a team that can go at least eleven seconds faster this year! Our Ladies came third and the Vets. were fourth, but the strength in depth that we have at Dark Peak means that we should be capable of improving on those positions. Obviously there may be some trading between teams, which always proves ‘interesting’. Mike Robinson has kindly offered to coordinate a ‘B’ team, so hopefully everyone who is keen will get a run.
